You will

  • work alongside students to create impactful prevention programs that help stop gender-based and sexual violence across UniSC campuses;
  • lead engaging workshops, training, and awareness campaigns that bring students together and foster a culture of safety, equity, and belonging; and
  • keep programs on track by ensuring they align with legislation and policy, using data and insights to drive real, lasting change.

About you

Our ideal candidate is passionate about creating safer, more respectful communities and knows how to turn big ideas into real change. You’re a natural collaborator, working alongside students, staff, and community partners to design and deliver impactful programs that prevent gender-based and sexual violence. You’re great at bringing people together—whether it’s leading engaging workshops, developing resources that spark conversation, or empowering student networks to take action. With a strong understanding of inclusion, equity, and trauma-informed approaches, you’ll make sure every initiative is meaningful, evidence-based, and aligned with best practice. If you're ready to make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.

You will possess:

  •  Proven experience leading prevention projects—planning, coordinating, and delivering impactful initiatives on time and with clear outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to craft clear reports, briefings, and messaging that resonate.
  • A natural connector who builds strong relationships and collaborates effectively with diverse groups and key stakeholders.
  • Experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating programs, workshops, training sessions, and awareness campaigns that drive meaningful change.

  • Previous experience in higher education
  • Previous experience working in GBV prevention.
