Join our team at the University of the Sunshine Coast as an Integration Developer, where you'll lead the development and maintenance of integration services crucial to our university’s information systems and services. You will

  • build and maintain smart, reliable data solutions that keep UniSC’s systems seamlessly connected;
  • ensure integrations are sustainable and robust, supporting the university’s day-to-day operations now and into the future; and
  • find better, smarter ways to manage data, continuously refining and optimising how our systems work together.

About you

You are someone who thrives on building and refining data platforms, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and ready for the future. Your expertise goes beyond technical know-how as you collaborate with teams to define integration needs, troubleshoot complex challenges, and deliver solutions that make a real impact. With a keen eye on continuous improvement, you are always looking for smarter, more innovative ways to optimise systems and services. You will possess:

  •  Experience designing, developing, and implementing data management solutions, with a focus on data integration activities like ETL, API development, data modelling, mapping, and transformation.
  • Hands-on experience with SSIS and cloud integration solutions such as the Azure Data Platform suite, building and maintaining reliable data pipelines.
  • A deep understanding of data integration patterns and tools, with the ability to design and implement batch, real-time, and event-driven integrations.
  • A sharp analytical mindset with the ability to tackle complex problems and find effective solutions.
  • Strong organisational skills, with a talent for keeping clear documentation and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate within a team while also working independently with confidence.
