The Opportunity

Join us at the University of the Sunshine Coast where you'll play a pivotal role in transforming our business through expert coordination of our planning and project management frameworks. As Coordinator, you'll lead the development of enterprise-level planning documents, ensuring alignment with UniSC’s strategic goals. Your expertise will empower project teams, providing essential guidance and resources to drive successful outcomes and uphold compliance standards. You will

  • lead the seamless delivery of our planning and reporting framework, coordinating operational plans, reports, policies, and procedures to drive efficiency across the University;
  • champion the effective implementation of our project management framework, overseeing portfolio governance, reports, policies, and essential support service;
  • provide expert advice and guidance to Executives, Senior Staff, and key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with legislative and policy requirements for planning and project management; and
  • collaborate with stakeholders to develop concept briefs, business cases, and other essential project documentation that shape successful outcomes.

You’ll bring your expertise to support our senior executives and stakeholders, helping shape UniSC’s strategic initiatives and ensuring they come to life through well-coordinated plans and projects. You’re not just about getting things done; you're about getting things done right, supporting your colleagues and stakeholders every step of the way, and contributing to the growth and success of UniSC’s transformation journey.

You will possess:

  • Proven experience in applying enterprise planning or project management frameworks, with a strong understanding of the complementary area.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and take initiative in varied situations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and interpersonal, with the ability to write clearly and persuasively for diverse audiences and build meaningful relationships at all levels, including with senior leadership.
  • Solid understanding of higher education governance frameworks or experience navigating legislative, regulatory, and compliance requirements in a complex environment.
  • Experience working autonomously while being part of a team, managing multiple priorities, and consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Advanced computer literacy, with expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, business intelligence tools, and experience in ERP systems administration, particularly TechnologyOne.
  • Experience designing and delivering engaging training programs to enhance staff capabilities.
