The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to lead meaningful commercial growth that elevates UniSC Clinical Trials’ presence across regional and national health landscapes. As Senior Business Development Manager, you will shape and deliver thoughtful sales and partnership strategies that support sustainable revenue while expanding access to research that matters, research aligned to real healthcare priorities and community needs. Drawing on strong industry insight, you will build trusted relationships with sponsors, Contract Research Organisations, government and internal partners across our multi-site network, using market intelligence and pipeline insights to inform direction, guide decision-making, and support long-term impact for UniSC, our partners and the communities we serve.

You bring deep expertise in clinical trials and a strong commercial mindset, enabling you to guide projects from feasibility through to execution while keeping timelines, budgets, and quality standards on track. You’re a natural relationship-builder, confident in engaging with sponsors, CROs, government, and internal teams to create meaningful partnerships and position UniSC Clinical Trials as a trusted leader. You’re strategic, organised, and proactive, with a knack for spotting opportunities, driving growth, and turning insights into action. You enjoy mentoring and inspiring others, leading by example to build capability and deliver results that have real impact for our students, our partners, and the communities we serve.
