About PACE

The UniSC PACE (Performance, Achievement, Curriculum, Experience) Learning and Teaching Model is a transformative initiative that reimagines how students engage with education at UniSC. Grounded in flexibility and personalisation, the model enables students to learn at their own pace- on campus or online - through a simplified academic calendar, modernised curriculum design, and flexible enrolment options. It empowers students with greater choice and access while supporting their wellbeing and success. Staff benefit from streamlined processes and more balanced teaching and research periods, contributing to a high-performing, collaborative academic environment.

PACE delivers reform across three core areas:

  • a trimester-based academic calendar with shorter sessions for flexibility;
  • renewed programs aligned with UniSC’s Curriculum Design Framework; and
  • concurrent enrolment options that remove barriers to student progression.

These elements work together to ensure a consistent, high-quality learning experience that is contemporary, inclusive, and responsive to student needs and market demands. Through PACE, UniSC demonstrates its commitment to excellence, innovation, and student-centred education as outlined in its 2025–2028 strategic plan.

With excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, you build effective partnerships and can confidently provide guidance to diverse stakeholders.
