  • x1 Part-time (60% FTE - 21.72 hrs per week), fixed-term appointment until late February 2026 based at Sippy Downs 

The Opportunities

Join UniSC’s Work Integrated Learning (WIL) team within the Academic Support Unit (ASU) and play a vital role in supporting students’ real-world learning experiences. You'll oversee communication, monitoring, and reporting of pre-placement requirements, ensuring compliance and providing expert advice on mandatory checks and documentation. With a strong focus on client service, you’ll engage with students and partners, embodying UniSC’s values in every interaction. As part of a collaborative and innovative team, you'll contribute to a culture of continuous improvement while using your administrative expertise to make well-informed, policy-based decisions.

About you

You are a strong communicator with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build positive relationships and collaborate effectively with students, academic staff, professional colleagues, and external partners. With a proactive and independent approach, you exercise sound judgement to solve problems, make informed decisions, and escalate issues when needed. Your exceptional organisational and administrative skills enable you to manage priorities efficiently, adapt to a dynamic work environment, and meet deadlines with ease.

You will possess:

  • completion of an associate diploma level qualification with work related experience an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training;
  • demonstrated effective customer service skills and a results orientated focus;
  • proven attention to detail and effective data entry, communication and reporting skills, including the ability to use the university’s Placement Management System and other technologies; and
  • routine to general knowledge of WIL within the higher education sector, including an understanding of the importance and influence of regulation and accreditation requirements.
