Are you passionate about health, fitness, and sport? UniSC is seeking expressions of interest from qualified gym and fitness professionals to join our vibrant and diverse community at UniSC Moreton Bay and UniSC Caboolture.

As UniSC continues to grow, our Sport and Fitness team plays a key role in managing world-class facilities and delivering exceptional user experiences across all aspects of health, fitness, and sporting activities.
 
With nationally accredited venues and support from leading health and sports scientists, UniSC has become a premier sporting destination. Here, high-performance athletes train alongside beginners in a supportive community that celebrates growth, passion, and excellence.

You will
  • contribute to the coordination of the daily operations of the Gym and Sports Court at the Moreton Bay and Caboolture campuses;
  • support the design, implementation, and delivery of exercise prescription services for gym members and patrons;
  • assist in facilitating numerous internal university programs operating out of UniSC Sport and Fitness; and
  • provide a safe, clean, and maintained daily training environment for all users and staff, across all Sport and Fitness facilities.
To be successful you will possess 
  • completion of an associate diploma level qualification with relevant work-related experience or an alternate combination of relevant knowledge, training and experience. A Sport and Exercise Science degree would be highly regarded;
  • experience with exercise program design and delivery;
  • excellent client service skills with the ability to motivate and encourage clients.
  • completion of a First aid and CPR qualification; and
  • possess or be eligible to apply for a blue card (working with children check).
