The Opportunity

Clinical trials at UniSC play a vital role in advancing safe, ethical, and impactful health research. As an Ethics and Regulatory Officer within UniSC Clinical Trials, you will support the coordination and delivery of ethics and governance processes across a growing clinical trials network.

Working closely with the Regulatory and Start-Up Manager and broader clinical team, you will help ensure all studies meet ICH Good Clinical Practice, ethical requirements, and regulatory standards, while maintaining accuracy, compliance, and timely approvals. You will

  • support the ethics and governance submission process across the clinical trials network, ensuring compliance with ich gcp and regulatory requirements;
  • coordinate documentation, reporting, and tracking activities to support timely approvals and accurate study management; and
  • assist with the preparation, review, and maintenance of essential regulatory and ethics documentation across clinical trial projects.

About you

You are highly organised, detail-focused, and confident working within structured regulatory and compliance environments. You enjoy managing multiple priorities, communicating with a range of stakeholders, and ensuring accuracy in documentation and processes. You bring a proactive approach to problem-solving and take pride in maintaining high-quality standards in your work.

You will possess:

  • A relevant degree or equivalent combination of experience, education, and training in health science, biomedical science, or a related field;
  • Knowledge of ICH Good Clinical Practice and clinical research governance frameworks;
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and database systems;
  • Understanding of privacy principles relating to health information;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team; and
  • Prior experience in clinical research or regulatory environments (highly regarded).
