The Opportunity

As a member of the Curriculum Support Unit (CSU) and CSALT, you’ll provide expert advice and specialised support to Deans, academic staff, and Academic Support Unit (ASU) teams, driving excellence in curriculum and academic services. You will

  • contribute and support the review, development and implementation of relevant University policies, procedures and local protocols, including the interpretation of policy and the provision of detailed policy advice;
  • provide policy and procedural advice on the quality assurance framework related to course and program proposals and other accreditation matters;
  • assume responsibility for the maintenance of the University's curriculum in the UniSC Curriculum Information Repository UniSC CIR and the associated activities; 
  • contribute to the development of procedures related to course and program proposals and other accreditation and University matters; and
  • contribute to a positive and safe work environment for you and others, by modelling and promoting conduct that is culturally capable, inclusive, respectful, and ethical.

About you

You excel in delivering high-level customer service and have exceptional relationship management and organisational skills, enabling you to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders and build mutually beneficial relationships. Your outstanding written and verbal communication skills, combined with your flexibility and willingness to collaborate across work areas, ensure seamless interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.

You will possess:

  • completion of a relevant degree with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in an administrative position within tertiary education;
  • extensive experience and proven expertise in delivering high-quality support to academics, leaders, or students within a curriculum design environment;
  • previous experience in the provision of high-quality support, including the preparation of academic documentation; and
  • solid understanding of School structures, policies and operations and how they interact with other functions to undertake day-to-day activities effectively.
