The Opportunity

Take the lead in coordinating the design, implementation, and evaluation of business processes for UniSC’s domestic admissions. In this key role, you’ll optimise resource allocation and streamline practices to ensure a seamless and high-quality experience for all stakeholders, making a meaningful impact on the University’s operations and student journey.

You will

  • Coordinate the development, implementation, maintenance for admission processes relating to all domestic applicants for undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs offered by the University in collaboration with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met in accordance with the strategic goals and priorities of the University and to ensure the efficient and maximum utilisation of available resources;
  • Provide expert advice on the provision of pathways in order to ensure that outcomes are consistent and equitable, comply with the AQF framework and with University, ESOS and relevant Government policies and legislation; and
  • Implement change management and communication framework strategies in undertaking the management, development, and continuous improvement of University approved admission processes.

About you

You are a proactive and solution-driven professional with a talent for assessing challenges and developing innovative strategies within a process improvement environment. Your strong organisational, conceptual, and analytical skills, coupled with the ability to engage constructively with stakeholders and clients, enable you to deliver responsive, customer-focused outcomes. With exceptional communication and organisational expertise, you excel in managing competing priorities, consulting, and negotiating with diverse stakeholders while consistently meeting deadlines. Your keen attention to detail and ability to coordinate people and workflows ensure the efficient and effective delivery of results.

You will possess:

  • completion of a relevant degree with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience within a higher educational setting; or extensive experience and management expertise in technical or administrative fields in a tertiary setting.
  • Experience in recruitment and admission processes in a tertiary environment.
  • Extensive understanding, knowledge and experience in using:
    • a student records information system;
    • the development, use and maintenance of databases; and
    • creating and editing webpages.
  • Ability to work with staff in developing knowledge and understanding of data integrity and quality control issues and its relationship to continuous quality improvement principles and practises.
  • Experience in the coordination and presentation of training sessions and in the preparation of documents and publications.
