The Opportunity

We are seeking applications from motivated and experienced administrative professionals to join the Academic Support Unit (ASU) as a casual Administration Officer at UniSC in 2025. This role is central to supporting the daily operations of ASU and enhancing the delivery of academic programs across the university.

You will

• deliver high-level procurement and administrative support for academic delivery and operations;
• coordinate and maintain systems and processes to ensure efficient purchasing and record-keeping; and
• provide informed advice across teams by applying your knowledge of university policies, procedures, and structure.

About you

You are organised, proactive, and bring a positive and professional approach to your work. Your ability to communicate effectively, manage competing priorities, and operate with accuracy and initiative makes you a strong asset to any team. You’re a natural problem solver and thrive in a collaborative environment where continuous improvement is valued.

You will possess:

  • experience providing high-level administrative support, particularly in procurement or financial processes;
  • strong working knowledge of administrative systems, including the ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and financial guidelines; 
  • excellent attention to detail and record management skills;
  • proficiency in using a range of software and administrative systems;
  • the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a high-performing team;
  • a current driver’s licence (desirable, for multi-campus operations); and
  • demonstrated computer literacy across a range of computer programs including the Microsoft Suite and Adobe.
