The Opportunity

We’re seeking a highly capable administration professional to play a central role in supporting the operations of UniSC’s Marketing and Communications team. This position is integral to the smooth running of a large and diverse function, providing consistent, high-quality administrative and coordination support across the department. You will work closely with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, and act as a key point of support to ensure priorities are managed effectively and day-to-day operations run seamlessly.

This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment where no two days are the same. Success in this role will come from your ability to adapt your approach depending on who you are supporting and what is required, while maintaining a high level of organisation, attention to detail, and professionalism. The role offers an opportunity to build a strong career in administration and operational support within a complex organisation, contributing to the effectiveness of the Marketing and Communications function through proactive, solutions-focused support.

You will

  • provide high-level administrative support across the Marketing and Communications team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations;
  • act as a key point of coordination for the department, supporting communication, workflow and team effectiveness;
  • deliver tailored administrative support to a range of stakeholders, including senior leaders, adjusting your approach based on needs and priorities; and
  • support planning and coordination activities across the team, including meetings, documentation, and internal processes

About you

You are an experienced and highly organised administrator who thrives in a dynamic environment, supporting a broad range of stakeholders. You bring a proactive, solutions-focused approach and take pride in ensuring operations run smoothly behind the scenes. Confident working with senior leaders, you are comfortable managing competing priorities, anticipating needs, and exercising sound judgement. You demonstrate a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and discretion, with the ability to tailor your support to meet varying stakeholder and organisational requirements.

You will possess:

  • Experience in an administrative or coordination role, ideally within a large or complex organisation
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to provide tailored administrative support across a diverse team
  • High level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability
  • Strong digital literacy, including Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint), and the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Flexibility to travel between UniSC campuses throughout the year and work varied hours, including after-hours and weekends, as required.
