The Opportunity

Join UniSC’s Academic Support Unit and contribute to the effective delivery of Work Integrated Learning (WIL) through strong governance, contract management, and financial oversight. As a senior member of the WIL team, you’ll provide expert advice on placement agreements, support compliance with policy and legislation, and help drive continuous improvement across systems and processes.

Working closely with academic staff, students, and external host organisations, you’ll ensure contracts are managed efficiently, placement fees are monitored accurately, and WIL activities are delivered with a high standard of service and professionalism.

You will

  • manage WIL contractual agreements and compliance processes, including drafting, reviewing, and maintaining records while ensuring alignment with policy and legislative requirements;
  • coordinate placement-related financial processes, including monitoring invoices, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and maintaining accurate reporting; and
  • lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, while supporting and mentoring team members and building strong stakeholder relationships.

About you

You’re an experienced and solutions-focused professional with strong administrative, compliance, and stakeholder engagement skills. You bring a proactive approach to problem-solving, thrive in a complex environment, and are confident working with contracts, systems, and financial processes.

You will possess:

  • A relevant degree with subsequent experience, or an equivalent combination of education and extensive experience in a tertiary or similar environment;
  • Demonstrated experience in WIL or similar program administration, including knowledge of compliance, contracts, and governance frameworks;
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines;
  • Experience in contract management, financial administration, or budgeting processes;
