The Opportunity

We are seeking a customer-focused and solutions-oriented Systems Support Officer to support the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of UniSC’s key student systems, including the Student Management System, Timetabling System, CRM, and Student Portal. Reporting to the Manager, Student Systems, you will provide high-quality system support to staff across the University, diagnose and resolve system issues, contribute to upgrades and testing, and work collaboratively with colleagues across Student Services to improve business processes, staff efficiency, and the end-user (student) experience.

You will

  • provide high-quality system support and administration for UniSC’s key student systems, ensuring reliable performance, data integrity, and a positive client experience;
  • diagnose, resolve, and escalate system issues, contribute to system upgrades and testing, and maintain custom processes, integrations, and documentation; and
  • collaborate with Student Services colleagues to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance staff efficiency and the student experience.

About you

You are a proactive and customer-focused professional with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a genuine interest in systems support within a tertiary education environment. You communicate clearly, work collaboratively, and are comfortable supporting clients with varying levels of technical expertise.

You will possess:

  • completion of a relevant degree with experience providing client support for systems, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training;
  • demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong professional client focus;
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to support a diverse client group; and
  • the ability to work flexibly, collaboratively, and positively as part of a team.
