The Opportunity

Join our dynamic Student Central team and be the first point of contact for students and the community! You’ll provide high-quality support across walk-in, email, live chat, and phone enquiries, ensuring a seamless student experience. Supervising a team, you’ll mentor staff, oversee daily operations, and leverage call centre and CRM technologies to enhance service delivery. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced, student-focused environment while collaborating across multiple campuses.

You will

  • provide support to the Team Leader, as an escalation point for Student Central staff;
  • assist with workflow management across all inbound and future student outbound channels; and
  • ensure that staff training and quality of service is maintained.

About you

You’re a confident and adaptable communicator, able to engage effectively with diverse groups and provide support to clients facing complex challenges. Your strong interpersonal skills allow you to build credibility, foster positive relationships, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. A natural problem solver, you thrive in fast-paced environments, juggling multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining keen attention to detail. With your initiative and solution-focused mindset, you’re ready to make a meaningful impact in a student-centered role.

You will possess:

  • completion of a relevant tertiary qualifications combined with experience in a tertiary education setting; or extensive experience within a client support environment and a good understanding of the tertiary sector;
  • proven success in coordinating a team within a flexible work environment, including roster management and work allocation in accordance with business needs;
  • provide staff supervision and leadership in managing staff performance in the context of a multi campus model, including the development of training and induction material whilst maintaining a goal focused and strong integrated team culture;
  • the ability to successfully analyse complex issues and provide innovative solutions to challenges within a continuous quality improvement environment; and
  • a high level of digital literacy including experience with Customer Relationship Management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
