In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting students throughout their clinical placements by delivering high-quality, evidence-based education across diverse settings; including simulated, telehealth, and clinical environments. You’ll contribute to the training and development of clinical facilitators, collaborate with academic staff to enhance clinical learning experiences, and help expand our partnerships with healthcare providers to ensure students graduate confident, competent, and ready to meet the needs of the health sector.

You will:

  • contribute to the student learning experience while they are on clinical placement;
  • support students to become successful and job ready nursing graduates;
  • work with the Nursing leadership team to train and support clinical facilitators and provide support to clinical course coordinators; and
  • develop and maintain key health partnerships to support and grow our work integrated learning footprint.

About you:

You will bring sound experience in nursing within a clinical practice setting, along with a strong commitment to providing a supportive and enriching learning experience for our students. You’ll be eager to contribute to a positive, collaborative academic environment that fosters excellence for both staff and students.

Your passion lies in delivering educational programs that build clinical and professional capability, grounded in evidence-based best practice and designed to prepare students for success in today’s dynamic healthcare environment.

You will possess:

  • Completion of a master’s qualification in a relevant field is preferred;
  • Registration as a nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
  • Proven effectiveness in clinical teaching, evidenced by student feedback, peer review, and/or student outcomes;
  • Experience in delivering quality clinical education across multiple settings (e.g., clinical, simulated, and telehealth);
  • Strong interpersonal and collegial skills that contribute to a positive academic culture;
  • Engagement in professional development activities and a willingness to continue learning; and
  • Membership or affiliation with relevant professional bodies and links to industry or community groups.
