The Opportunity

Join our team and provide high-level support through research, analysis, reporting, and administrative activities to drive the planning and delivery of diverse IT projects. You'll be involved in developing and implementing efficient business processes, ensuring continuous improvement within a project management environment. During quieter project phases, you'll take charge of change and communication activities, facilitating the successful adoption of IT project changes. This role requires you to collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify change and communication needs, develop strategies, and conduct training needs analysis. You will

  • provide high level support to the Program Delivery team through the planning, management and delivery of the portfolios and programs of projects and demands in a changing and complex IT environment;
  • assist with the coordination, development and up keep of project artefacts including risk registers, budgets, procurement processes and record keeping;
  • develop, maintain and continually review and improve the project management framework including the processes, technologies and training materials required to optimise the framework; and
  • ensure alignment with the governance structures and frameworks required to maintain the quality and assurance of the IT Project Management Office (PMO).

About you

You have exceptional business acumen, with the ability to research, develop, and analyse options to optimise business processes effectively. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with your sense of confidentiality, diplomacy, active listening, and empathy, make you a respectful and valuable team player. Adaptable and flexible, you excel at quickly and efficiently taking on new initiatives, making you a dynamic asset in any team.

You will possess:

  • completion of a degree qualification with at least four years’ subsequent relevant experience or extensive management experience in significant organisations or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training;
  • previous experience with successful project delivery as well as experience with project management frameworks and toolsets including ServiceNow and Microsoft 365 applications;
  • proven management and prioritisation of multiple project support activities in a high workload to ensure effective achievement of project objectives; and
  • an understanding of IT Policy, Compliance, Cyber Security and Risk Management practices.
