The Opportunity

Data and information are critical to how UniSC delivers on its mission to enrich our regions and create opportunity for all. As Program Manager, Data Analytics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how the University uses data to drive insight, performance and decision‑making.

Reporting to the Senior Lead, Data Analytics and working under the strategic direction of the Chief Data Officer, you will coordinate the delivery of Stage 2 of UniSC’s Data Analytics Roadmap. This is a high‑impact, enterprise‑wide program that brings together technology, people and process to modernise analytics capability across academic and corporate portfolios.

Operating in a complex, collaborative environment, you will bring strong program leadership, technical insight and stakeholder capability to ensure outcomes are delivered in a planned, prioritised and value‑driven way.

You will

  • lead the coordinated delivery of UniSC’s enterprise data analytics roadmap, translating strategy into prioritised, value‑driven outcomes;
  • apply strong program and project management discipline to modernise analytics platforms, products and ways of working across the University;
  • partner with senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality analytics, dashboards and insights that support decision‑making; and
  • embed contemporary data governance, privacy and information management practices across program delivery.

About you

You are a confident and adaptable program leader with strong experience delivering technology‑enabled analytics initiatives in complex organisations. You bring a balance of structure and pragmatism, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and keep delivery focused on outcomes. You enjoy working at the intersection of data, technology and business, and are motivated by the opportunity to build capability that makes a tangible difference.

You will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in program and project management within a data, analytics or technology‑enabled environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of contemporary data analytics platforms and business intelligence tools, ideally within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and delivery skills, including experience working in agile or hybrid delivery models.
  • Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical outcomes.
  • A collaborative, proactive approach and the confidence to lead change in a large, distributed organisation.
