The Opportunity

Join our team and play a key role in driving international student enrolments at UniSC! You’ll implement creative, effective, and compliant communication strategies to engage prospective students and their influencers across various channels. As the first point of contact, you'll ensure enquiries are handled promptly and professionally, while proactively nurturing applicants through the process from application to enrolment. Collaborating with other UniSC areas, you'll also support international students’ seamless transition into university life.

Please note - This role requires occasional non-standard working hours, with potential restrictions on recreational leave during peak periods.

You will

  • act as the tier 1 contact for prospective international students and their influencers, responding to their enquiries across various channels while upholding high-quality and timely service standards.
  • develop and maintain effective and relevant resources and content across multiple systems that support student recruitment, conversion, and transition efforts.
  • contribute to the planning and delivery of marketing, communication, and conversion activities which increase application to enrolment conversion rates.

About you

You have strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a talent for writing clearly and precisely while adhering to brand guidelines. Your proven organisational skills and keen attention to detail allow you to prioritise your workload effectively, ensuring you meet competing deadlines and deliver high-quality outcomes. You thrive both independently and as part of a team, consistently contributing to the success of projects and tasks.

You will possess:

  • completion of a degree or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, or training.
  • well-developed digital literacy, utilising a range of communication methods and social media platforms for business promotion, including use of a variety of systems to respond to enquiries, record data accurately, and generate and analyse reports.
  • demonstrated commitment to the provision of excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, and an established record of exercising sound judgement and initiative to drive results.
  • proven ability to maintain highly effective working relationships with stakeholders from varying cultures, countries and backgrounds with respect and integrity.

Desirable

  • fluency in a language other than English and of significance to the University's recruitment strategy.
  • experience and expertise in the use of a CRM and Eloqua.
