The Opportunity

The Insights & Analytics Unit (IAU) at the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) provides strategic leadership in enterprise planning, project portfolio management, performance reporting, data governance, data and analytics, privacy, and records management, enabling evidence-based decision-making across the University.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Planning and Project Governance, this role plays a critical enabling function in supporting data-driven decision-making, enterprise planning, and effective project delivery across UniSC.We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Planning and Project Services Coordinator (Casual) to support the delivery of UniSC’s enterprise planning and project management frameworks, with an immediate focus on coordinating the development of the 2026 UniSC Annual Operating Plan.

Working closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders, this role translates strategic priorities into actionable operational plans and delivers high-quality, executive-ready advice and materials within a collaborative, future-focused environment.

You will

  • coordinate the delivery of UniSC’s enterprise planning and project management frameworks, including corporate planning, reporting, and governance activities;
  • support the development and coordination of the University’s Annual Operating Plan and related planning documentation;
  • support project portfolio oversight through monitoring, reporting, and assurance of milestones, risks, and outcomes;
  • provide expert advice to executives, senior staff, and project teams on enterprise planning, project management practices, and compliance requirements;
  • coordinate governance forums and committees, including agendas, minutes, and action tracking; and
  • contribute to continuous improvement of planning and project management systems, tools, and capability uplift across the University.

About you

You are an experienced and highly organised planning and project professional who thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment. You bring strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders.

You will possess:

  • a relevant degree with significant experience in enterprise planning or project management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • demonstrated experience applying enterprise planning and/or project management frameworks and methodologies;
  • strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgement;
  • excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, including experience engaging with senior leaders and preparing high-quality reports;
  • advanced computer literacy, including strong Microsoft Office skills and experience with enterprise systems or reporting tools; and
  • the ability to work autonomously while managing competing priorities and collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
