The Opportunity

You will provide first-tier technical support, assisting in the management and maintenance of electronic systems critical to the function of a progressive clinical trial operation. You will work collaboratively with staff, clients and software partners to troubleshoot, achieve fault resolution and deliver continued innovation to the clinical research sector.

You will

  • assist with the implementation and validation of technological changes, integrations and implementations;
  • assist with the maintenance of information technology assets across the UniSC Clinical Trials network; and
  • provide first-tier technological support to staff across the UniSC Clinical Trials network, providing triage to issues as appropriate.

About you

You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills enabling professional interaction with team members and stakeholders from diverse geographical locations. You will thrive working both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.  You will enjoy showcasing your resourcefulness, initiative and problem-solving capabilities to deliver successful business outcomes.  Additionally, you have a current driver’s licence and are willing to travel to various site locations as required for project needs and collaborative efforts.

You will possess:

  • tertiary qualifications to prove critical thinking and problem solving capability;
  • a keen desire to understand the clinical trial regulatory environment and its approach to technology;
  • experience in the management and troubleshooting of technological systems;
  • sound understanding of local and international privacy principles governing health information;
  • high-level computing skills across all major operating systems; and
  • experience working with cloud-based computing (primarily SaaS), simple databases, computer networks and Managed Operating Environments.
