The Opportunity

Join UniSC Gympie as an Administration Assistant, where you’ll play a key role in keeping the campus running smoothly! As the first point of contact, you’ll provide friendly reception, administrative support, and excellent customer service to staff, students, and the wider community. Working closely with the Operational Support Officer, you’ll assist with the day-to-day operations of the campus, ensuring everything runs efficiently. You will

  • act as the first point of contact providing quality reception, administrative support and customer service to staff, students and visitors to UniSC Gympie;
  • provide high quality operational and administrative support across all aspects of the UniSC Gympie operations; and
  • provide of professional administrative support to the Operational Support Officer and Coordinator, UniSC Gympie.

About you

You have exceptional communication and organisational skills, allowing you to respond accurately and effectively to enquiries and correspondence. With strong problem-solving abilities, you navigate challenges with confidence and professionalism. Your high-level customer service skills enable you to build positive, mutually beneficial relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and a welcoming experience for all.

You will possess:

  • completion of a relevant qualification and experience working in a forward-facing client services environment within a satellite university campus or higher education setting, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training;
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; and
  • sound knowledge of the cross-organisational environment of a university, including structure, policies, and operations of programs and courses, student administration and the delivery of support services.

Desirable

  • proficiency in Gallagher, Archibus, Umbraco, PeopleSoft, CRM, Canva, Celcat, and using record management systems.
  • demonstrated ability to effectively assist in the organisation of student events and community projects.
