The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the GLOW Trial – a multi-site, NHMRC-funded stepped-wedge cluster randomised implementation trial aimed at reducing perioperative hypothermia and improving surgical outcomes. Working alongside national partners and multiple hospital sites in Southeast Queensland, your expertise will be key to successfully delivering this high-profile project.
As Senior Research Fellow / Project Coordinator - The GLOW trial, you’ll take a strategic and operational leadership role across trial sites, ensuring high-quality data collection, stakeholder engagement, and research integrity. You’ll also contribute to UniSC’s broader research culture through mentoring, partnership building, and translating research into practice.

You’re a highly skilled and motivated researcher with a passion for health system improvement and collaborative research. With a strong track record in applied health research, you understand the complexity of real-world healthcare environments and are adept at working across diverse stakeholder groups. You bring initiative, leadership, and a commitment to research that delivers meaningful outcomes for patients and clinicians.
You’re also a skilled project manager, with the ability to oversee multi-site research activities, maintain data integrity, and meet timelines and reporting requirements. You thrive in team environments, communicate with clarity, and enjoy seeing your research lead to tangible change.
