Working closely with colleagues across Finance, IT, analytics and senior leadership, you will balance hands-on delivery with strategic advice, champion best practice, ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards, and help modernise systems and processes to keep the University at the forefront of financial management.

You will

  • drive the development and continuous improvement of financial reporting and processes, helping teams work smarter and more efficiently while enhancing transparency for internal and external stakeholders; and
  • collaborate across the University with senior management, committees, and key stakeholders, providing trusted financial advice and insights that guide decisions and shape outcomes.

Always looking ahead, you identify opportunities to improve processes, build capability, and support University priorities, helping UniSC stay responsive, innovative, and ready for the future.

You will possess:

  • Expertise in accounting standards, financial management, and high-level analysis.
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights clearly to all audiences.
  • Advanced digital skills, including Microsoft Office, VBA, Power BI, and Power Query.
  • Strong business acumen and leadership, delivering results in complex environments.
