The Opportunity
UniSC’s Information Technology team is central to enabling the University’s growth, innovation and digital transformation. As a trusted partner to academic, research and operational areas, IT delivers secure, reliable and forward-thinking technology services that support a modern, future-focused university.
As the Senior Cyber & IT GRC Officer, you will take a lead role in advancing UniSC’s cyber security maturity by strengthening governance, risk and compliance practices across the organisation. Working closely with stakeholders across IT and the broader University, you will oversee cyber security frameworks, support risk management activities, and provide expert advice to ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards. Your work will contribute to protecting critical systems and data, while enabling innovation through secure and well-governed technology environments.

About you
You are an experienced cyber security professional with a strong background in governance, risk and compliance. You bring a structured and analytical approach to managing cyber risk, combined with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.
Collaborative and proactive, you excel at building relationships across technical and business teams, influencing outcomes and supporting a culture of security awareness and accountability. You are comfortable working across multiple priorities and are driven to continuously improve cyber security practices in a complex organisational environment.
