The Opportunity

We are seeking a creative and reliable Marketing Design Assistant to support the Clinical Trials Marketing and Recruitment teams within the UniSC Clinical Trials Centre (UniSC CT). This casual role plays a key part in promoting clinical trials, supporting participant recruitment, and strengthening UniSC CT’s digital presence.

Working closely with the Participant Outreach Coordinator and broader team, you will use your graphic design and marketing skills to produce engaging content across a wide range of platforms. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to meaningful, health-focused research in a collaborative university environment.

You will

  • create engaging marketing content for email campaigns, newsletters, and promotions;
  • plan and deliver digital advertising campaigns across social media and online platforms;
  • produce high-quality visual and written content for social media and web channels;
  • monitor, analyse and report campaign performance to improve results; and
  • moderate social media engagement and support participant recruitment.

About you

You are creative, organised, and detail-oriented, with a strong interest in marketing, copywriting and/or design, and digital engagement. You enjoy working across multiple platforms, can manage competing priorities, and are confident operating independently while collaborating with a broader team. You exercise sound judgement and communicate professionally and sensitively with diverse audiences.

You will possess:

  • a relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Creative Industries or Graphic Design, or equivalent experience;
  • strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail;
  • experience managing social media across multiple platforms;
  • well-developed organisational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines;
  • sound judgement and confidence when engaging with stakeholders and the public;
  • demonstrated proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop (essential) and the wider creative suite;
  • strong graphic design capability with an understanding of branding and design principles; and
  • willingness to travel occasionally between campuses and regional locations.
