The Opportunity

As Lecturer in Allied Health Assistance, you will deliver high-quality teaching and contribute to curriculum development, coordination, and student support within the Diploma of Allied Health Assistance (AHA). • build and maintain industry and community partnerships, strengthening the program’s workforce relevance through engagement with allied health providers and contributing to cross-disciplinary program delivery and regional engagement initiatives.

About you:

You are an experienced allied health professional and passionate educator who is committed to student success. You bring strong clinical and academic knowledge, and you can design, deliver, and evaluate effective learning experiences across multiple teaching modes. You are collaborative, inclusive, and actively engaged with industry and community partners to support workforce development and student outcomes.

You will possess:

  • Effectiveness as a teacher, demonstrated by student feedback, peer review, and evidence of curriculum design and delivery;
  • An established research track record, including refereed publications, participation in research teams, and co-supervision of honours and HDR students;
  • Membership and strong connections with relevant professional bodies, community groups, and/or professional practice;
  • Strong personal qualities and a collegial approach that support a positive academic environment and high standards for staff and students; and
  • Evidence of ongoing academic development and a commitment to improving teaching practice.
