Whether you are an experienced business partner looking to deepen your influence or a senior finance leader ready to shape University wide frameworks and strategy, these opportunities will see you partnering across a complex and purpose led organisation where your work has genuine impact.

You will contribute across budgeting, forecasting, modelling, reporting and financial planning activities, while supporting the ongoing development of contemporary financial systems, dashboards and frameworks that enhance organisational capability and decision making.

  • develop and enhance contemporary reporting frameworks, dashboards and financial toolkits;
  • support strong financial governance, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives; and
  • collaborate across Financial Services and the wider University to deliver client focused outcomes and service excellence.

Senior level appointments will also embed University wide frameworks and methodologies, provide high level strategic advice to senior and executive stakeholders, and contribute to capability uplift across the team.

About you

You are a collaborative and commercially astute finance professional who enjoys building relationships, solving complex problems and translating financial information into meaningful insights. You bring strong analytical capability together with a client focused mindset and the confidence to work across a diverse stakeholder environment. You thrive in environments where continuous improvement, systems thinking and strategic partnering are valued.

You will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience in financial management, reporting, analysis and budgeting within a complex organisation
  • Strong capability in financial modelling, forecasting and business partnering
  • The ability to communicate complex financial information to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working with contemporary finance systems and reporting tools, including advanced Excel capability
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills, with a commitment to high quality client service
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and contribute positively within a collaborative team environment
  • CPA qualification, higher education sector experience and familiarity with Technology One systems will be advantageous

For senior appointments, experience embedding financial frameworks, developing advanced reporting solutions and influencing senior stakeholders will be highly regarded.
