The Opportunity

Student Services is dedicated to delivering a positive, transformative experience for all students. As an Admissions and Credit Officer, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating and assessing admissions and credit transfer activities, ensuring processes are student-focused, efficient, and aligned with University policies. In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to assess applications, manage data, and identify opportunities for process improvements. Your work will directly contribute to a high-quality student experience while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of UniSC’s student systems.

You will

  • assess student applications and determine credit transfer outcomes;
  • coordinate admissions processes and manage associated data in student systems;
  • provide advice and support to internal and external stakeholders on admissions and credit; and
  • identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the student experience.

About you

You are a solutions-oriented professional with strong analytical, administrative, and interpersonal skills. You excel at managing competing priorities, communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders, and delivering accurate, high-quality outcomes. With your knowledge of student information systems and commitment to continuous improvement, you provide reliable support and guidance that enhances the experience of both students and staff.

You will possess:

  • completion of a degree with relevant experience experience and specialist expertise, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training;
  • extensive experience using computerised student information systems;
  • strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement process improvements;
  • experience delivering excellent customer service in a tertiary environment, with highly developed interpersonal and communication skills;
  • knowledge of data integrity, quality control, and continuous improvement principles;
  • experience coordinating and delivering training, as well as preparing clear documentation and publications; and
  • ability, or willingness to quickly develop skills, to undertake program/course set-up and system testing in Oracle Campus Solutions (Peoplesoft) Student Information System.
