A promising foundation

Luke's journey with UniSC began during the construction of the University’s foundation building at Moreton Bay. His expertise played a crucial role in ensuring the successful construction and operational readiness of the campus from the beginning.

"I've been with the University since the construction phase, witnessing the birth of our Moreton Bay campus and contributing to its growth," Luke says.

Community and collaboration

UniSC places an emphasis on collaboration across campuses, something Luke believes sets it apart.

"What's unique about UniSC is the ability to collaborate not only within the Moreton Bay campus but also with colleagues across various campuses, fostering a truly supportive community," Luke says.

Empowering innovation

Working at UniSC has given Luke the freedom to be innovative.

"I'm able to come up with an idea and see it come to life,” he says. “UniSC nurtures a culture where innovation is celebrated.”

His work journey at UniSC has been marked by milestones that bring him immense pride. From witnessing the opening of the campus doors for the first time to being part of the graduation ceremony for the first cohort of students, he’s proud to have contributed to shaping UniSC's friendly culture and growing community.

"I felt a surge of pride seeing students graduate and knowing that our efforts have contributed to their success," Luke says.

Balancing work and life

UniSC's commitment to its employees' wellbeing aligns with Luke's experience of a supportive work environment that values personal life.

"Working at UniSC provides the flexibility to enjoy quality time with my family, attending school events and creating cherished memories," Luke says.

As UniSC’s Moreton Bay campus continues to expand with new buildings and an anticipated influx of students, Luke says he’s excited about the opportunities it will bring.

"The growth opens doors for staff development and career progression, making UniSC an exciting place to build a future," he says.
