The Regional Manager for Europe serves as UniSC's in-market representative across the region with a primary focus on Germany, Austria and Switzerland, supporting the University's international student recruitment, partnership development and market engagement activities.
Acting as a visible ambassador for UniSC, the role promotes the University's programs, values and student experience while strengthening relationships with prospective students, education agents, schools, institutional partners and other key stakeholders.
Working under the direct instruction of the International Business Development Manager, the Regional Manager for Europe supports the implementation of UniSC's international recruitment and market development strategy across the region. The role contributes local market knowledge, delivers agreed recruitment and engagement activities, and supports the achievement of international student recruitment objectives.
The successful candidate will act on behalf of UniSC in the designated markets and will be expected to represent the University professionally and consistently in all interactions. The role is dedicated to advancing UniSC's strategic objectives and enhancing the University's profile across Europe.
While the successful candidate will work exclusively in support of UniSC's international recruitment and engagement objectives, their employment will be facilitated through an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement administered by Remote and will be governed by applicable local employment laws and regulations.
Nature and scope of engagement
Working under the direction of UniSC's International Business Development Manager, the Regional Manager for Europe (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) supports the delivery of agreed recruitment, stakeholder engagement and market development activities across Europe with a focus on Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The role requires a high degree of professionalism, self-management and accountability in planning and delivering in-market activities, recruitment of students and providing market intelligence to inform UniSC's international operations.
The Regional Manager for Europe operates as UniSC's local presence within the region and is expected to exercise sound judgement, initiative and cultural awareness when representing the University and engaging with external stakeholders.

Employment Arrangement – Employer of Record
UniSC engages an Employer of Record (EOR) service provider, Remote, to facilitate the local employment of this role in compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations in the country of engagement.
If successful, you will be formally employed by Remote as the legal employer, while performing your duties exclusively for UniSC under UniSC’s direction and operational requirements. This arrangement enables UniSC to employ staff in international markets while ensuring full compliance with local labour law, payroll, taxation, benefits administration and statutory employment obligations.
Your day-to-day work, reporting lines, responsibilities and performance expectations will be set by UniSC. Remote will manage employment-related administration including employment contracts, payroll processing, statutory entitlements and other local employment compliance requirements.
This structure ensures you receive locally compliant employment arrangements while being fully integrated into UniSC’s International Office and operating as a key member of the University’s global recruitment team.
