The Opportunity

The Student Experience team is seeking motivated and approachable Student Support Assistants to provide front-of-house and enquiry management services.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective and current students, responding to enquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions. You will also assist staff and visitors, ensuring high-quality service delivery that supports student engagement, satisfaction, and positive outcomes across the University.

You will

  • respond to student enquiries via phone, email, and in-person in a timely and professional manner;
  • provide information and guidance on University programs, services, and processes;
  • support front-of-house services for staff, visitors, and events;
  • collaborate with colleagues across the Student Experience team to enhance student engagement and satisfaction; and
  • contribute to the development and implementation of team initiatives to improve service delivery.

About you

You are friendly, professional, and solutions-focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You enjoy supporting students and visitors, and are confident managing multiple enquiries while maintaining a welcoming and positive environment.

You will possess:

  • Experience in customer service, administration, or student support;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities;
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team; and
  • A professional and approachable manner when engaging with students, staff, and visitors.
