The Opportunity

The Participant Recruitment team at UniSC Clinical Trials is looking for motivated and reliable casual team members to help engage and support people interested in participating in clinical trials. These roles are vital in creating a positive first impression for participants and ensuring smooth recruitment and enrolment processes.

In this role, you will act as the initial point of contact for potential participants, providing information, assessing eligibility, and scheduling their first clinic visit. This is a hands-on, engaging position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a purpose-driven, collaborative environment.

You will

  • engage potential participants via phone, text, email, and social media;
  • provide clear information about clinical trials and answer questions to support informed participation
  • conduct pre-screening questions over the phone to assess initial eligibility and book clinic screening appointments;
  • accurately record data in secure systems while maintaining strict confidentiality;
  • collaborate with team members to balance workload and support administrative tasks;
  • work with stakeholders across the network to enhance recruitment strategies and outcomes; and
  • contribute to meeting or exceeding participant recruitment and enrolment targets.

About you

You are organised, personable, and enjoy engaging with people. You take pride in accuracy and confidentiality, are comfortable working with data systems, and thrive in both independent and team-based tasks.

You will possess:

  • Experience in customer service, administration, or participant engagement roles;
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly, professional approach;
  • High attention to detail and accuracy when recording information;
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and work independently;
  • Confidence using digital systems, databases, and Microsoft Office; 
  • Previous experience in contact centre environments would be advantageous.
