The Opportunity

As the Manager, International Marketing and Communications at the University of the Sunshine Coast, you will lead the charge in developing, implementing, and executing innovative multi-channel marketing, communication, and engagement strategies. Your mission will be to elevate UniSC's global presence, driving international student recruitment and conversion through market-tailored, data-driven approaches. You'll craft high-quality assets, nurture crucial stakeholder relationships, and oversee a dynamic team to deliver impactful results that align with our strategic goals.

You will

  • craft and execute multi-channel marketing strategies that spotlight UniSC on the global stage, driving visibility and strengthening our reputation in key international markets;
  • create and launch targeted campaigns designed to captivate prospective international students, driving enrolment and delivering impactful results; and
  • lead and inspire a talented team of marketing and communications professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation to ensure we deliver outstanding marketing outcomes.

About you

Our ideal candidate is a strategic, results-driven professional with a strong ability to enhance UniSC’s global visibility. You’ll be skilled at developing targeted, multi-channel marketing campaigns while leading a dedicated team to support international student recruitment. You know how to turn strategy into action, whether through digital marketing, stakeholder engagement, or brand initiatives. Data is key for you, and you’ll use insights to refine campaigns and improve conversion rates. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure all marketing efforts align with our international goals.

You will possess:

  • Proven experience in crafting and executing high-impact, integrated marketing and communications campaigns that deliver measurable results.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to deeply understand client needs and align strategies with their goals.
  • Strong project management expertise, thriving in fast-paced environments while juggling multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Natural leadership skills with a talent for motivating and guiding teams to success.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrated through your ability to negotiate, advocate, influence, and facilitate with ease.
  • Sharp problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose challenges and develop creative solutions for complex workplace and team management issues.
