As part of our dynamic Nursing team, you’ll help shape the next generation of job-ready nursing graduates through engaging, industry-relevant programs. You’ll play a key role in building strong health partnerships, expanding work-integrated learning opportunities, and developing a research portfolio that aligns with contemporary health priorities, making a real difference in both student success and community health outcomes.

About you:

As a dedicated educator, you create an engaging and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to thrive. Your subject expertise, strong teaching skills, and clear communication foster meaningful learning experiences that challenge and inspire. With a student-centred approach, you’re committed to academic and professional excellence, continually seeking innovative ways to support student success and growth.

You will possess:

  • A minimum of a Graduate Certificate in the nursing discipline and registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
  • Effectiveness as a teacher including the capacity to conceive, develop and deliver higher education curricula and contribute to relevant areas of teaching;
  • Research experience and potential including for example: refereed publications, participation in research teams and sound knowledge of research methodologies relevant to the discipline/field;
  • Membership of and sound connections with relevant professional bodies and community groups and/or in professional practice; and
  • The desire to participate in academic development activities and continue to learn and improve as an effective academic.
