The Opportunity

Join UniSC and play a vital role in supporting Accreditation and Curriculum activities across all schools! You'll coordinate program reviews, manage accreditation submissions, facilitate site visits, and assist with course changes and committee functions. This dynamic role requires strong collaboration with university staff, external accreditation bodies, and Senior Accreditation Officers, as well as a solid understanding of UniSC’s structure, programs, and curriculum processes. Please note, while this role is primarily based at UniSC's Sunshine Coast campus, occasional travel to other UniSC campuses may be required to support administrative needs. Therefore, flexibility and a current driver's license are essential.

You will

  • provide high-level administration support to ensure the efficient coordination of program reviews, external accreditation, course changes and committee support;
  • ensure compliance with relevant policy and procedures governing curriculum and accreditation;
  • provide essential support to the Team Leader and Senior Accreditation Support Officers with various accreditation and curriculum tasks, ensuring compliance and contributing to the team's overall effectiveness and performance;
  • deliver high-quality customer service to support schools with accreditation and curriculum, ensuring an outstanding customer experience aligned with the University's strategic imperatives; and
  • enhance processes using a continuous improvement and best practice ethos.  

About you

You are an experienced administrative professional with a strong customer focus, skilled at handling telephone, email, and in-person enquiries with professionalism and efficiency. Your excellent stakeholder engagement skills enable you to liaise effectively with diverse internal and external contacts, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. With a keen ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures, you provide valuable administrative support, including committee coordination, agenda preparation, document distribution, and follow-ups. Your advanced organisational and interpersonal skills allow you to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines with ease, working both independently and as a proactive team member in a fast-paced environment.

You will possess:

  • completion of a degree, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and / or education or training;
  • effective verbal and written communication skills, particularly in relation to explaining administrative requirements and processes effectively and preparing clear and concise written materials;
  • committee support skills such as preparing agendas, distributing papers, and ensuring further action and follow up;  
  • excellent computer literacy including the ability to use the Microsoft 365 cloud-powered productivity platform that incorporates a suite of apps and services, comprising of Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Onenote and Onedrive, with the ability to learn new systems/packages/processes quickly and effectively;
  • demonstrated experience maintaining confidentiality, handling sensitive matters discreetly, exercising good judgement, taking initiative and problem solving; and
  • flexibility and resilience to change in times of uncertainty.
